Q: Ok, first of all, I have to say that I'm someone who almost NEVER associates names w/ people/characters/etc. However, I've started to LOVE this name for a boy for that very reason. The name is Darcy. Ever since I read the book and saw the 2005 production of Pride and Prejudice, Ive really liked that name. I dont know if I would ever use it for my own son, just because I love SOOO many other names, but I would definitely consider it. Every time I think of it my heart flutters, lol, i know, drama queen. I know it's most typically thought of to be a girl name, but, along with other surnames like Kelly, Kelsey, Shannon, etc, it was originally a boy name. Please tell me your constructive opinions. A: I like it. When I saw the name the first thing I though of was "Mr Darcy", not a girl. I also love Pride and Prejudice, and if you like the name then you should go for it.
