Breastfeeding and pumps?

Q: I intend to breastfeed but due to my schedule, I'd like baby to have (at least) one bottle per day. I was thinking I'd give pumping my milk a try. What are your best advices and what pumps are the best? I also might, occasionally, give more then one bottle per day (like at christmas, I'd like to enjoy a couple of glass of wine... lolll sorry if that sounds selfish ;))

A: Great idea! This is what i did, but i expressed at night for my husband to feed so i could get some sleep. I started getting a bank built up by expressing a small amount before a feed, and if she onlt wanted one side i would then express the other. or if it was feed time and wanted to go out, i expressed both sides and left the bottle. If you are going back to work, i would suggest to express at her/his normal feed time and get your husband or who ever is looking after your baby to pick it up or keep it in the fridge for the next day. The best pump i use is Medula, they fit onto all electric pumps too when you are in hospital and if your want to buy or hire one for when you are at home. Congrats on baby by the way, i hope don't have long to go!
