Q: my son started on enfamil lipil...he was puking so much i switched him to enfamil gentlease about 3-4 weeks ago. it has reduced some, but he still seems nauseous and pukes. i asked my Dr about it today, she said to switch to a soy based. i heard it can be bad to a baby's hormonal growth. i asked her this and she told me no. and his stomach probably isn't tolerating the milk based. i think it could help him not feel sick if he is lactose intolerant. does anyone know about this or use soy based? thanks! he is 6 months old.
A: I heard this too, but if the doctors are still using it I wouldnt worry too much about it. My daughter had to use soy products too, she is 3 now and can drink regular cows milk, somtimes when they are younger it just reacts badly with them, I would do as the doctor says and get the soy formula.
