Q: Most of you saw my question earlier about my water possibly breaking and I am only 29 weeks along. I called 911, and good thing I did because baby A started to crown as soon as I got in the ambulance. I gave birth to both twins on the way to the hospital (a 20 minute drive, plus 20 minutes at my house still to deliver baby A.) They took the babies away and really aren't telling me how they are doing. Baby A weighed 2 lbs and 3 ounces, and Baby B weight 2 lbs 0 ounces. What should I expect? The doctor said he's pretty sure he can save my sons, but I need to just wait. And the only reason I am on the computer is to find answers about my kids conditions. Please help... Oh, here is what we named the twin boys... Baby A- we named him Graham Timothy... Baby B- we named him Gideon James... I don't know why you think I am Joking. I really did have the twins. Graham is doing better than Gideon, but they are in the NICU. You people really are insulting when you just assume people are joking. I am very lucky to have 5 beautiful boys now, and hopefully I won't lose them. But thanks for all those that believe the truth.
A: First of all, congratulations on the birth of your twins! I know it's scary and they are here way too early, but I have to tell you that I don't know anyone who delivered at 29 weeks and lost their twins. I belong to a community online with tons of other twin moms, many of them moms to premies, and they came through Ok. They will be in the NICU for a long time... but they're in the best place considering the circumstances. Send me an email if you want to connect with other moms who have been there,
