Pink eye is annoying, painful but not harmful to the baby. Try this if you do get it: warm up tea bags in almost hot water- place in plastic bag- wrap in towel and place over swollen, red, crusty eyes- for what ever reason- it pulls out most of the discharge and swolleness- make sure bags are not HOT you could get burned. Most pink eye will go away on its own- or thats what the dr's are saying now. the only diseases you should watch out for is measles, mumps, scarlet fever and 5ths disease.
