Q: Ok, so i've been having alot of other symptoms for a few weeks now and have been talking to my midwife about them when i see her at the hospital for my checkups. These are like nausea, black spots in my eyes, severe headaches, dizzy spells, irritability, sore ears, cramps in my stomach etc but the midwife kept telling me it was because of my anemia.. that was.. up until my last visit when she checked my urine for protein and asked if i had any swelling. I said no to the swelling and the protein test came back negative so i was sent on my way. Last night, woke up and felt weird pressure in my hands and feet and noticed they were both swollen and itchy. I went back to sleep after tossing and turning and feeling generally unwell for 2 hrs then woke up and the swelling was gone. This morning though my whole stomach hurts all over and my ears hurt along with an excrutiating headache. I cant go to the doctors / Hospital for 4hrs as my hubbys at work and i'm at home with 4 kids... but im worried that even if i was able to go am i worrying for nothing? Should i just leave it be? (Baby is still kicking and moving around)
A: As long as baby is moving you can relax a little. Call your midwife though and let her know what's up. She might want you to come get checked tonight when your hubby gets home, or at least make an appointment for tomorrow.
